Halloween Horror Nights 2018 has been such a scary hit that it will continue haunting for an extra night. Universal Orlando has added Tuesday, October 30, as an event date “due to popular demand.”

The one extra day allows visitors to scream their way through this year’s 10 ’80’s-themed haunted houses including one based on Netflix’s Stranger Things. The ’80’s horror continues with such houses as Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers; Poltergeist; The Horrors of Blumhouse and more.

In addition, Halloween Horror Nights offers sinister scare zones, including areas based on Revenge of Chucky, Killer Klowns from Outer Space; The Harvest; Twisted Tradition; and Vamp ’85: New Year’s Bash.

Universal has created space on its calendar to make the event even longer in 2019. The event typically has a mid-to-late September start due to its Rock the Universe Christian music festival. Next year, the festival will move to February, opening up an earlier HHN start.

Halloween Horror Nights runs select nights through November 3 and starts at 6:30 p.m. The remaining dates are October 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31; and November 1, 2, 3.
